You might want to try this. I had a problem where the trans would not shift
out of first gear and then would not shift at all. There was an engine code
that I had that indicated an Auto Trans Speed Sensor. I went to Feeney
Dodge in Palatine, IL and they gave me a part number #4800879. I didn't
even need to drain the trans to put this in. I pulled out the old sensor,
cleaned the o-ring and put the new one in quickly. Some trans fluid will
leak out during this. Just keep tract of what comes out and then top it
off.

This saved me the cost of taking it in and having it looked at. And the
part cost $30.00 after tax.
