Hey Allan!

My '92 is still running strong after 250+K! The only difference I see is the
auto trans versus my manual. The engine should be fine for a long time.
Hopefully regular maintenance has been done on the tranny. Those valves can
be cranky is old fluid ;)

Sounds like a very inexpensive investment for another 3+ years!

Subject: DML: Value Question

Hi to all

I am thinking about purchasing a 1993 Dakota SE Extended Cab 2wd
Auto V6 Magnum with 135000 miles on it. It is at a used car lot and I
have neg. the price to $2500. The truck seems to be in excellent running
condition and is in clean condition. I checked kelly Blue and it says
retail
is around 5200, but I checked Edmunds and it said $2200. To me that is a
biggg difference. I thought that maybe the Edmunds was a trade-in value
but that was even lower yet at $1200. I would have bought the truck
yesterday until I saw the Edmunds numbers, now I'm not sure if $2500 is
a good deal. Any thoughts, suggestions?
