cam2

Ok, I'm probably going to look silly asking this.... but anyway....

Looking at a 72 Dodge Swinger with a built 440 pulling 565HP. Talked to
the guy today over the phone. One thing he mentioned was that it needs
cam2, otherwise it will spark knock pretty bad (due to 12-1 compression
ratio)... Is Cam2 racing fuel (like 110 octane stuff), and if so, that's
probably going to be too expensive for me as a weekend driver (would
probably drive it weekends and maybe once a week), so probably plan on me
filling it up maybe twice a month (assuming it's around 10 gallon tank and
VERY low MPG). He says he's spent $6K-$7K on just building the engine, and
he's selling the whole thing for $7,500... How much would Cam2 run me, if
it's what I think it is, then I'll just save that money and put it into the
Dakota :-) I won't sink the money into a car for it to be a trailer queen
and/or just for the strip.. which he did say it's street legal, and should
pass inspection.
