Hmmm... Interesting point. I track my mileage so I'll know as well. Also interesting that the exact same thing happened to my '98. Right front was literally melting and I had to have everything replaced!

       Took the Dak to the dealer this morning to check the sticking right
front Caliper. Well, when the wheel was pulled the rotor was purple in color
due to heat. After one look by the service manager "He said replace
everything up front".
       Well, now I've got 2 new calipers, 2 rotors and new pads with no
questions asked. It even feels different. Less peddle pressure to stop and
the weird thing it feels like it's got more power. I wonder if it was
dragging so bad that it made the power used more and the gas mileage go down.
I'll find out at the next fill up anyway. "Sir Bill"
