Ron,

Get thyself to yee shope ASAP! The symptoms on my '98 was a subtle pulsing and equally subtle reduction in braking power. The wheels came-off (almost literally) on the highway and I still don't know how I managed NOT ending up in the front seat of the car in front of me. I.E. when they go, they REALLY go!
Tom

Hmm.. now I'm getting concerned. It seems to take a bit of foot power to
stop my 98. I keep thinking that it's getting close to doing a brake job
(like a week or two), there's no squealing or anything yet - the pedal just
feels wrong. My truck averages 12.8MPG per oil change (3000 miles).

Also interesting that the exact same thing happened to my '98. Right front
was literally melting and I had to have everything replaced!
