I'm planning some engine work for as soon as the winter weather is over, and
I was wondering if anyone with these
steel cowl hoods has found a way to make them functional without
compromising the hoods bracing?

I'd like to find a way to vent some of the heat to the outside, and the
underbracing seems to block the air flow
somewhat.

ANY IDEA'S ???
