Installing in a freeze plug may be inviting a leak you don't want. I would
use a tee fitting where the factory gauge sending unit is located.

Subject: DML: Viper fan Install

I am getting ready to install my viper fan, I am using painless wiring's fan
install harness. Since I don't have a place to install the temp probe I will
be installing it in a freeze plug. What is the best way to install the
fitting into the freeze plug? Should I use a brass plug and a brass adapter?
and if I should how should I put the two togeter? Solder?

Which freeze plug would be the best to use?

Thanks for any time and help provided...
