Hi Andy,
I had been clearing the snow throughout the storm. I blew everything clear
that night. When I said blowing snow, I should have said drifting snow.
Everything I had cleared drifted shut. As I'm sure you're aware, drifting
snow packs tight. It was much easier to blow the first 24" than the drifted
7".

You waited till the storm was over to start blowing? Classic rookie
mistake :) Overnight storms you gotta get out there at least once
before you hit the sack. I can remember being out there at 11 PM a few
times trying to get a jump on things for the morning.
