Max tire size for 2000 4x2 QC

Hey all-
I have p255/65R15 on my 2000 Quad Cab now. it's only a 4x2, so it
doesn't have any elevation, but the stock tires just don't fill the
wheelwell. anyone know how big I can go without rubbing (i have put up
to a ton of dirt in the bed, so that is crucial). the p255/65R15's on
there equal out to about a 28x10.1 so maybe I could go to a 30x10.5?
would that be pushing it?
