Question: What is the most weight you have hauled in the bed of your
Quad
Cab? I was suprised on friday when I tried to haul a crate that
weighed
about 850#. As they lowered the fork lift the whole back end of the
truck
just kept sagging closer to the ground ultil I finnaly called them off.
 I
thought the Quad was able to haul about 1700# in the bed. What's the
deal?

I have been to the dump down the road a few times and they weigh you on
the way in/out. I got 3 loads one day: 1400, 1500, and 1900 lbs. It
was a really BAD idea to get the last load like that, but it was compost
and a little wet and I couldn't tell until the front-end loader dumped
it all in! Anyhoo, I only had a mile to go so I thought I would be
fine. Shortly after that, I got the seemingly popular "moaning" sound
from my rear differential. Got it services under warranty a month later
and it went away...not sure if it's related, but a big ole coincidence?

Thanks,
