230 hp 318 mods

I agree with some other respondents. I had a '92 with the 318 in a
longbed, and boy it moved really well.
  Here's what I'd do if I'd do it all over again:

Hi-flo throttle body and cat back exhaust system, but leave the factory
manifolds, and yes they were excellent in those early magnum years.
Then if I wanted more, I'd put the Mopar Hi-Po cam for Magnum engines,
the computer, and hi-flo injectors in.
  You'd be amazed what the cam/computer/injector combo can add to that
package if you already started out by opening up the intake and the
exhaust already.
  I had the similar setup in my '94, and when the oil pump went south
and took out the bearings at 50K, the dealer replaced the longblock.
 But I had already yanked everything and put it all back to stock except
the cam. (Make sure they dont try to dick me with warranty being void
stuff) So, of course the stock longblock and cam went back in, and what
a dog that truck felt like after that!
