Thanks for the word Don. This is a project that won't be taking place till
a bit later. I need to get the truck repainted since "Craftsman Auto Body"
SCREWED IT UP SO BADLY!!!!! You wouldn't believe the batch of buffoons they
have working there. They didn't do what they were suppose to, and when my
Dak was supposedly finished, it had more things wrong with it than when I
took it in.
I had two places that needed touching up. One from a rock that hit one
door, and a neighbor's football that hit the other one. When it came back
the paint work wasn't done correctly, one of my tinted windows was ruined,
both rear speaker covers were broken, and there was black silicone sealant
in my rear carpet. I'm almost afraid to look in the back to see what they
were using sealant on.
I haven't checked the speaker grilles to see if they replaced them or if
that's what they used the sealant on to try and hide. They wouldn't stand
behind their lifetime guarantee of doing the job right. They won't correct
the paint work they screwed up. So I'm writing letters to their parent
company and to their association members, but that's about all I can do
outside of going to court.
Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble on. Again thanks for the reply.
Rich
