You can...if the vehicle doesn't move, but better to accelerate SLOWLY
(or put some gravel at the drive-wheel(s).

Aren't ya supposed to generate enough heat with the spinning tires to
melt the ice and thus get back to the dry pavement?? Hmmmm...
