The video included clips from all of the BBQ's and Daktoberfests (accept
the very first BBQ - I dont think any vid footage exists from the first
meet)
When I was making the vid - I had all of the DML video MPEGS that I
could find. I doubt there is a single clip I didn't look at. The
problem was MUCH of the footage I had was not good enough quality (too
grainy, blurry, jittery etc).
And some clips didn't fit into the "mood" of the song I was using.
I was sorry that I was not working with master tapes - from which I
could directly cut clips from for a better quality result.
Perhaps down the line I will put together another video - but for the
time being - I'm leaving the film on the cutting room floor heheh.
I worked on it for 3 months - doing the last 80 percent in one week day
in day out. Andy reassured me, when I told him this, that my insanity
was still intact!!
Would I do it again? Hell yesh!
