First, DO NOT BUY THEM FROM THE DEALER!!!!!!
They are like 60 bucks each, at least they were for the 4.7, i lost both
those pulleys that you're talking about in less than 24 hours, not one of my
most fond memories with my Dak...
You should be able to get them at Canadian Tire, probably like 30 bucks
each. They were pretty rough to change on the 4.7, but with a second pair
of (strong) hands and arms, it makes it a lot easier.

The easiest way to tell if they are going bad is if you can feel any sort of
resistance when you try to spin them. Or, if when you spin them, they don't
spin in a perfect circular pattern. But, usually by the time you're able to
notice either of those symptoms, they are just about to fail...

For the price of the pulleys, and the fact that your Dak is 6 years old, and
you have a concern about the parts, i would definitely replace them.

And when/if you do, replace them together, that way you only have to thread
the belt back on once. ;-)
