Replacing the entire windshield is pretty expensive just to hide the
antenna.
My mother's '01 Buick Regal (yeah, I know, we tried, but they had all
these points on the GM Mastercard and after my father got the Durango
she was allowed her choice) has the antenna-in-the-window deal (the back
window actually). Pretty cool. If you didn't know it was there, you'd
just think it was part of the defroster element.
