Back in the old day's. I had a freind that worked at a
tire shop that had something like this. He was pretty
impressed with it. I also worked at a tire shop and
mounted and balanced tires all day long. I did not see
much use for it. There was on major problem that I had
with it. To get the tire to "Roll Smooth" they shave
off the high spots in the tires. And I guess that
smooths out the ride for the tire but you have alot
more spinning then just the rim and tire. You have a
hub rotors and other parts. So those do not get
balanced with process. The think about the roads you
travel on. There are pot hole, Trash in the asphalt
and the random road kill. So as soon as you hit a pot
hole or something like that you have thrown the hole
thing off. So you would take you tires back in for
them to do it again. They would shave a little bit
more off. The process would repete itself until you
have 15k on a set of tire looking for a new set. I
think normal balanceing works great. I would not spend
my money on something like that. But that is my
thoughts
Thanks
