If its not your fuel pump,cycle your ignition 3 times to get flash
codes.Sounds like your distributor pick-up is going.Had this happen to me
twice(86 turbo Lancer 14,000 miles and 88 Dakota 125,000 miles).The code
should be stored in your CPU.Also check the pintle on your EGR valve it may
be stuck.
