Ken, I just really doubt one rocker could do this, man that is a lot of oil.

Subject: DML: Loose Rocker = loss of oil?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if a rocker that isn't tightened down quite enough
will cause lose of oil. I've put about 220 miles on my truck since
Saturday. First, Sunday evening, after about 115 miles or thereabouts, I
was pulling into a parking spot, and noticed my check gauges light came on.
Look at my gauges and my oil pressure is on the very bottom of normal
reading. I wait a little bit, come back and check my oil, and barely get
any oil on the dipstick (that I can see anyway). So I get another 3 qts
into the system. Drove it about 50 miles today, and seems it's low again.
Also, I'm noticing that once the engine warms up, it tends to vibrate a
little bit (also my check engine light has come on). I believe that's a
sympton of a rocker being a tad loose too isn't it?

Another weird thing. Driving home, sitting at a stoplight, I notice my oil
pressure dropped, and Check Gauges Light came on, then it came back up and
light went off. Got home, checked the oil and it's well into the SAFE
area... Thoughts???
