Just an FYI, if the wire isn't thick enough, it's doubtful you'll mess
anything up. If your ground and positive aren't thick enough, that can lead
to the amp overheating. The amp will either automatically shut off (have to
shut stereo off then on to get amp to come back on), or the fuse on the
outside of the amp will pop. If the speaker wire isn't thick enough, then
you just cannot get the max power to your sub, could possibly lead to
distortation at higher output as well. Also good advice to disconnect
battery while hooking up the amp, etc, or you might blow a few fuses :-)
