Just to throw in. I would also check the battery. A bad cell that is
intermittent causes stuff like this. A more worse case but mostly
unlikely is an ignition relay. Usually when they go bad they cut out
when they get hot and once they cool down the truck runs fine again. It
doesn't sound like that to me. I say coil, coil pickup, like Rascal
said, or the battery.
