honestly, i don't think that this should be on here. i as well as many
others on here believe differently from you. let's keep this to a dakota
e-mail forum, and leave the war to another medium.
i have utmost respect and honor for our soldiers, which is why i am
considering enlisting after law school. in reference to the original post,
i do not doubt for one second that those who protest the war would take
flight when presented with a situation where they have to stand up for what
they believe in.

This truly brought tears to my eyes. I am a U.S.A.F. Veteran. I spent 8
years on Combat Crew Status. I have been awarded The Air Medal with several
devices; the Air Force Commendation Medal; The Armed Forces Expeditionary
Medal and a number of others.
I fully support our fighting troops in word and deed. I am sending letters
of support and encouragement that they may come home safely.
However, I do not support the current Administration's preemptive incursion
into Iraq. What has me scared is the Wall Street Journal report that the
management of the Iraqi Oil Fields as well as the Oil Well Firefighting has
been awarded to Mr. Chaney's company Halliburton. That alone taints the
mission our brave brothers and sisters have been ordered to execute.
God speed them home safely.
