WOW!

Thank you for the excellent direction. I'm going to
use that document to replace the gasket and clean the
air intake. I like the idea of spray painting the
intake shiny silver, although mine amazingly, looks
really clean already.

Maybe I can borrow a friend's "hot tank" in his
garage. I guess that would work, too, as long as I
have the right cleaner.

If I have so much apart, would this be a good time to
check timing gears and chain? Truck has just over 120k
miles.

P.S. Cat was really bad. Muffler man poured black
chunks of charcoal" out of one end of it after he
removed it. Now truck runs. But he says it's running
very rich. Have to fix that, he said, or bad cat again.
