Bernd, what can I do to get a lower RPM band boost from my V6? I've heard
that the 1.6 rockers and a cam will make a very noticable difference, but
I've not had too much luck finding a cam that I like, maybe I should just go
with the 1.7 rockers.... But then I'm more of a Ford 289ci V8 (I've got a
66 fstbk) kinda guy so I don't know that much about the Dodge 3.9L V6.....
The truck pulls really quite well for a v6 about 2800 rpm's but there's some
sort of a "lag" as soon as you hit aboud 2K rpm that's killing me. I've
tried all sorts of things to get rid of it, but I think it's gonna have to
be a cam/rocker/head fix.
Here's what's on the truck:
ported V8 TB
MSD 6AL ignition
Accel coil/wires/"u" groove plugs
K&N FIPK - possibly to come off soon in favor of shaker hood.
Custom PCM program (done by a friend in tech school)
FMS 19#/hr injectors
Any ideas???
