The catalytic converter changes bad emissions to carbon dioxide and water
(as well as some other things that sometimes smell bad) and when the pipes
are cold there is a lot of condensation also. Water from the exhaust when
cold is pretty normal. When the system is hot it is minimised but sometimes
still present
