   I think that would probably work, but I believe you would also need
the "box" under the dash - I think it may be incorporated in with the
heater core, etc. I don't imagine he would be pulling that out as
well, so that would be an extra expense. (And I hear the heater core
is REAL fun to get to on a Dak.) ;-) Plus of course, you would need
a way to engage the A/C compressor if you weren't going to change out
the controls also.
