I am using the K&N Aluminum Air Hat on my truck. It is a direct fit on top
of the throttle body. However, the K&N Air Hat opening is 4" in diameter
vs. 3" on the factory air hat, so you will need some sort of silicone
reducer (available at stores such as www.bakerprecision.com) so it will bolt
up ok. www.360airintakez.com offers a 3.5" diameter cermachrome-coated tube
that works very well with this application. K&N's part number is 85-1060.
You can buy it from Summit Racing or Jeg's, but I think John Mercedes at
www.southeastrt.com had the best price when I bought mine.
