You really said something interesting Jon...I am just wondering...with that
set of problems, is it possible that your vehicle was water damaged before
you got it? Everything that you describe that has failed is bearings and
parts that could be damaged by water even if it only got up to about the
doors. Just a thought...sorry you are having all these problems, that is
just not right.

I'm with you. These should last forever. I don't offroad, tow, jack ass
around. I've had the front wheel bearings, rear wheel bearings, rear
u-joint, now the rear diff. bearings replaced. One more thing goes bad and
this POS is for sale!

The way it's going I'll be taking bids next month! LOL!

Let's see:
Front Wheel Bearings: $500 (don't remember exact amount, but covered by
warranty)
Rear Wheel Bearings: $250 (don't remember exact amount, but covered by
warranty)
Rear U-Joint: $157
Rear Diff. Bearings: $573

Total $1480

Don't most of these components last up to about 7 years or more anyway? I know my truck is about 7 years old, and don't have any problems related to the drivetrain (yet). > > Ken Allgood > 97 CC SLT 5.2L > > > > > From: "Bernd D.
