Good point Victor, as the pressure builds up in the system, that can force a
leak that will not occur while the truck is cool.

Be sure to look around the water pump when the truck is running and when it
is not. When my pump went it only leaked when running not when things were
cool.
Get a mirror on a stick and look around the weep hole on the water pump for
any deposits. Other that that could be the heater core but we hope not.
