try a good brand of aluminum polish

and when you get them back to normal get
some ZOOP SEAL.
they did a piece on trucks tv on this product.

it's like a two step process, but it puts like a coating that bonds with the
metal so ou don't have to polish it all the time
may be once a month
you just have to wash it off and go
