Are you planning on doing this prior to the BBQ? If not, you could
have a listen to Ed's '00 QC, which has a 3" Gibson. I looked through
the 2002 Daktoberfest and BBQ reports, and there are a couple of clips
of Ed's Dak, but nothing where you can hear the exhaust very well. (Most
of the clips were Ed idling by - nothing "Adam style" to really hear the
exhaust.) :-)
I think the Gibson sounds good on the 4.7. Its got a healthy burble
at idle, but its not obtrusive. When Ed gets on the throttle though you
can sure tell its not stock. :-)
