You shouldn't have any problem other than perhaps braking. I have a friend
with a pre-magnum 3.9 in his 89 Dak who tows a '73 Challenger on an open
trailer. Another friend has a '98 Dak, CC, 3.9, and tows his '86 Daytona
on an open trailer. I've gone to races with them on a 400 mile trip and
other than being slow to get up to highway speeds, they worked just fine.
However, my friends have electric trailer brakes and feel they really need
them to slow down well.
