Subject: DML: A Waisted Day...........A Need to vent!!!
I get (2) Day's a week off, (1) of which I try to do something to
relieve the stress from work........
Today was my Day OFF to try to relax!!....it started out pretty
good.......was able to sleep a little longer this morning than
normal.......
Then I had planned to wash up the Dak and check it over for the trip to
the track tonight, set the air pressures on the Nitto's,......double
check the fluid levels,.....make sure the Nos system fittings were leak
free and the system's operation was without problems.....after
installing the .032 flare jet for 45-50hp setting.............I went to
check the weather reports.......
That's when it all went south..........the weather service started to
predict Severe Thunderstorms with Hail and high winds........so I
started to monitor the weather channel website......all indications
pointed to storms so I Cancelled the hour long drive to the track!!!
The weather service said the storms would start around 4:00pm.......an
hour before the track opened....
As I'm writing this NO RAIN HAS FALLEN and the skies are fairly
clear.............they Now are predicting the rain and storms later
tonight...........long after I'd made it back from test and tune!!!!!!
I should have gone with my first instinct and left when I had
planned........AAAAAARRRGH!!!!!
Sorry..........just needed to vent a little!!!!
