My '01 had an amp located in the kick panel on the passenger side front
foot well. Wasn't the biggest amp but it was there. For you radio
upgrade folks who like to look stock have you checked out the new deck
in the Pacifica? It has the sat radio capability and DVD playback along
with outputs for a monitor. I bet it would be a premium to get a hold of
but in time someone will sell one on eBay.

I want to say you can. I'ld assume if they were self amplified, you'ld
have
a power feed along with your left & right feeds. I haven't seen any on
my
infinity system. Even if you have the infinity package, you still have
the
factory deck that ships without the infinity package. So you tell me if
you
can see anything special driving them???

To my knowledge, the infinity speakers are just a better grade of
speakers.
I don't see why you can't change them.

individually amplified speakers rather than an amplified head unit. Is
that
the case with my '99 SLT CC? Can I just drop in regular speakers with
the
factory CD/Cassette head unit? I thought I knew the answer to this
question, but now I am unsure...
