RE: Gen II won't idle

The only one that strikes me as a culprit is the "37". Torque Converter
Unlock Solenoid. If the TQ converter is locked up at idle, the engine
dies unless you give it gas. The "22" is ECT (Coolant temp Sensor).
Might be bad, but wouldn't cause idle problems in this fashion. My bet
is on the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid - Gotta remove the trans pan
for that one though.

Call me if you need any help Gene.

Subject: DML: Gen II won't idle

Howdy all,

Been awhile since I have posted. Tried calling a few in the know people
for advice and I myself am a fair mechanic, but to no avail. Truck can
only be started with your foot to the floor (sometimes....when it is
cold it seems to start easier), it will not idle and will die each time
you put it in gear. You have to rev it up full blast and shif it into
gear to get it to go.....not good!

None of the following changes have cured the problem.

1. Swap out TPS with new unit
2. Replaced IAS with new unit
3. Swapped out MP computer for stock one
4. Cleaned T-Body (B&F Stage II)
5. Checked all vacum hoses and electrical connections
6. Replace ignition coil
7. Checked all SP wires and plugs
8. Replace upper rad hose (found a leak)

It throws the following codes: 12, 22, 37, 55. But I don't see how any
of them affect the idle circuit. Check engine light is on.

TIA for the feedback!

What am I missing here?
