Yes, it should. To elaberate a little more, all years of 3.9, 5.2 and 5.9
alternaters bolt in but the wiring is the same only in '90-'98. '99 - up has
different wiring. If you already have one from a '98, it will work.

Also, the '97+ alts. have a slightly smaller pulley which will help boost
voltage at idle.
