Yup, I told him that if he can find one for a good price, go with a V8. Due to the weight of the CC (granted, it's not as high on a Gen 2 as a Gen 3), that you're looking at about the same gas mileage on a V8 as you are a V6, so get the V8 for better towing. But as I said, they probably won't be towing anything more than 10 miles, and if they do, they'll make use of my services :-)
