I'm in the market for some stereo stuff:
I'm looking for a Chrysler am/fm/cd player, but the older size/shape,
not the newer style since the dash was redone in 2000/2001 (I dont know
what year they changed it) My sister's caravan has a tape deck only,
but all her kid's music is on CD, so I'm trying to help her out.
(non-Infiniti type)
I'm also looking for a Chrysler am/fm/cd player of the new size and
shape that will fit my '03 Dakota, but without the infiniti stereo
option. Or, if someone has a factory 6-disc changer and cables they
want to get rid of.
If I dont do this option, I may just upgrade the head unit to an
aftermarket unit and add a 10/12 disc changer instead. Has anyone seen
an aftermarket in dash 6-disc changer? I should have ordered that
option when I ordered my truck, but when I called the dealer 6 days
later, they said it was too late, even though the truck was 3 weeks away
from production. It was a $200 option. Oh well...
My wife's '01 Mazda Tribute has an in-dash 6 disc changer, so hopefully
someone has come out with an aftermarket unit since.
