Am I able to do the "torsion bar crank" thing on a 4x2?? I thought that
was only for a 4x4.

I'm pretty sure you won't have too many clearance problems in the
rear...
i'd be willing to bet that any clearance issues you have in the front
would be able to be taken care of with a torsion bar crank though. My
friend Matt did that on his, it looks great.
