If your talkin about the 4.6L motor I can say its awesome. Pretty much
if you feed it more air (supercharger) and inject a lil more fule into
it (injectors are large enough) it will scream. I have seen them run in
the 12s and 13s this way, in crown vics and Mercury LSes. They put the
4.6 in the P71 vics as well. Someone always asks this, THERE IS NO
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NORMAL 4.6 AND THE COP 4.6. The difference is in
the computer and the fule/mix graph.
You can get aftermarket parts.... pretty much all that is needed is a
custom chip and a supercharger.
I don't think one would have to much trouble getting 300hp at of one.
However I would not use a lincolin, I think I would use a p71 crown vic.
They are a lil bit lighter and don't have all the gay options that are
in the way. However all the wires for any extra electronics are there.
All you have to do is hook up the part.
The only bad thing about them are that they are not Dakotas, and they
don't have a bed.
There are some ppl that can tell you more about them on DALnet using
mIRC on channel #crownvicdotnet
