terms of a direct transmission link the only thing that comes to my mind is the
Vehicle Speed Sensor since that is as close to the transmission as the Cruise
Control gets, there is NOTHING internal or any other mechanism that
interlinks the two systems...-> an easy test would be to use your VSS from the original
transmission and install in new transmission... If the Cruise works its an
easy fix... Otherwise look for pinched wires that might have gotten caught
between transmission and engine on the install... things of that nature...
