Water spots don't usually bother me...but when I used to bring the truck to
meets, I would use the same spray you use for "Tire-wetting". I would spray
it and wipe the larger hoses, molding and other black plastic. It worked
great for all black plastic and rubber, got rid of the water spots and gave
everything a nice shine.

There are a ton of products for tire wetting and I have used most with the
same success...as long as it was a spray.
