Barry, you ARE a hooligan. Still an impressive show! I wish my tires were
12 inches wide, you know someone's gonna see that and think it was a muscle
car and think "wow, that's cool!"

When I got out of my movie, I noticed a crowd of ricers over in the corner trying to do burnouts. When I pulled up (99,CC,4x4,31x13.50BFG's, STS brushguard) one of the guys was saying he couldn't do a burnout because his car was "set up to drag race and hooked up so good" I was going to stop and look at the cars, but hearing this guy say that, I started laughing. The guy was not amused, cussed at me and asked me "what U got?". I climbed back in my truck, and uttered my redneck last words - Hey Y'all watch this!" > and proceeded to impress myself with tire smoke. The lot had a slight rise to it, and apparently had been just sealed (slick as snot). My speedo was showing 90-120, and I was rollong forward at about a walking pace. I burned for 60 feet or so before I let off. When I went back and looked at my handiwork, I noticed that I had burned through the sealer (and the paint lines) down to the asphalt, most of the way (and my tracks were 12 inches wide...) The dude was pissed, and made some rude comments, but I came back by asking how it felt being shown up buy a 4x4 with big tires. I felt like such a hooligan. > > > >>> ded74@yahoo.com 06/09/03 06:41AM >>> > > I won't go see it, but I might go hang out in the parking lot, just to > terrorize the ricers when they come out of the movie all pumped up and ready > to race ;) > > -Dave > '02 FR RC R/T > > ""scsilverdak"" <scsilverdak@hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:BAY7-DAV54nRMWuLn5U0000bcbe@hotmail.com... > > > > Hey, Chad.......... > > > > I guess some of these guy's take films a little too seriously!......... > > > > Geeeeeezzzzzzzzz... > > > > Ron- > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Mr. Plow" <adam_is_mr_plow@hotmail.com> > > To: <dakota-truck@dakota-truck.net> > > Sent: Sunday, June 08, 2003 6:08 PM > > Subject: Re: DML: Re: Re: Fast and furious movie > > > > > > > > > > >NO.......the scene with the cops at the wharehouse..........hehehehe > > > > > > > >Ron > > > > > > > > > Well, i don't mind spoiling that scene, since i saw it on a commercial > > > already... > > > > > > The cops have this warehouse "surrounded", but then there are a bunch of > > > (maybe 5) Ram 4x4's that burst out, and drive right over the cop cars. > > > > > > I sure won't be spending money on that pile 'o crap of a movie.
