Excellent link....based on that I think it's safe to say I have an "open
differential". Well, if I can ever get ahold of Chuck (his site appears to
be down), I'll probably do what he did, and get the 3.92 LSD. I love me
Dakota, but every winter, or in the rain, the traction is terrible.

I've been putting bout 600lbs of sand in the back in the winter and it only
help a bit....and that's with studded tires! Of course, with all that weight
the rearend lowered quite a bit....and I have to say I liked the look
;-)...hence I am getting the lowering kit as well..lol
