I've got a couple of set of exhaust manifolds out in my garage. No big deal,
right? One is the stock set off of my '95. The other set I picked up for
free. Guy was getting rid of them and gave them to me. I've had them for
months.
I was out there taking pics for more eBay auctions and for some reason, they
caught my eye. I decided to match the two sets up by casting numbers because
my stock set is getting sold with my 318. Guess what? The extra set I have
must be 92/93 V8 manifolds, the ones with the bigger exhaust ports, i.e. the
good ones. They measure out at 2 1/8" i.d. vs. 1 3/4" i.d. on the set off of my
'95. Casting numbers are 53006617 and 53006618. Anybody interested? Make
me an offer.
