Happy 4th!
The Dak: '99 V-6, Auto, 41,000 miles
The problem: It has just started "surging". While driving with a/c & cc on
we notice it will periodically rev up 1-200 rpm. You can see the tack jump,
feel it in the seat & hear the engine rev. It is almost as if the torque
lockup is unlocking. It doesn't matter if we are going uphill, level or
downhill. It happens very fast, rev up and then go back to the normal rpm.
We've had the truck since new and it has never done this. Took it to the
dealer yesterday but they couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas?
