Hey all,
I think I found the cause of my backfiring probs today. I was checking the
wires and found that the distributor hold down had lcome loose and the
distributor had rotated as far as it would go clockwise. My question is, how do I
determine if the distributor is properly synched. I know the computer will adjust
timing but wasnt sure if the distributor needs to be in a certain position
before I reset the computer. I rotated it counterclockwise a bit and tightened it
down then reset the computer, it has helped the backfiring prob but doesnt
seem to be perfect. Any advice?
