I took off the cover and left the connector in. I had great trouble trying
to get the voltmeter leads onto some conductive part of the wire/connector.
They are very tight holes and the insulation goes all the way up to the top.
Short of exposing the wire by cutting the insulation, I don't think that I
was able to get a reading on these wires.
Do you know which wires supply the power to the PCM? I can check those
wires and see if I am even powering the box.
What your information did tell me, is if I have a bad 'puter then the same
wire that is not getting power to the coil is also not powering my
injectors. Good info which means that I am not just pouring gas into the
engine when I try to start it.
Well, my wife just called and her car just died, so mine may sit a while
more before I can take it to the shop...only one repair bill at a time.
