I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know what the 2.5 engine looks
like, but I'm guessing its similar to the slant 6, with the intake
ports on one side, and the exhaust on the other? I'm also guessing
the exhaust manifold collects together and dumps down near the
firewall. If the exhaust ports are symetrical and evenly spaced
on the head, maybe it would be possible to remove the exhaust manifold,
flip it upside down, and weld a turbo flange to the collector? If
so, that would put the turbo up near the front of the engine, and might
solve some packaging issues. Or it might not. Just a thought. :-)
