RE: brake rotors

If you go off road, I personally wouldn't spend the extra money for
specialized rotors. The slotted or grilled kind will be more of a headache
for off road as mud and dirt will definitely accumulate in there. The
factory crap usually wears out anywhere between 1-3 years, but count on
it... they will need replacing. 4 trucks later and it's still the same
story. We've always gone to the local brake shop and had the OEM (regular,
standard, run-of-the-mill, brakes and rotors put on with the exception that
the brake parts are guaranteed for life or until the vehicle is sold.
